PFA Works Timecard is made for municipalities that need to accurately track the timecards of their employees electronically. Employees can use a Windows 10 tablet or PC to quickly enter their timecards either at the office or on the road.

Login

The login screen is the starting point of PFA Works. This is where you enter your login information in order to gain access to the rest of PFA Works. The login information consists of an Employee Number and a PIN Number.

Timecard Dashboard

The timecard dashboard is the starting place for the entire Timecard area. From here you can enter a timecard for the current day, view a timecard from a previous day (up to 3 months), and use the clock to punch in and out for the current day. Supervisors will see an extra button which will allow them to perform additional actions.

Timecard Entry

The timecard entry screen is where you enter a timecard for the day you chose on the calendar on the timecard dashboard screen. To add a new entry, you would bring up the App Bar. Then tap the Add button on the App Bar to add a new entry. You would then choose what type of timecard to enter based on the timecard templates you design in the PFA Works Manager app. Then simply add your hours, add any equipment or inventory and tap the save button on the App Bar to save the timecard.

Timecard Equipment

The equipment screen is where you add equipment to a timecard entry. You can see on the left hand side, there is an index of equipment codes, which when tapped will shift the equipment list to the first piece of equipment in the index. After you find the equipment in the equipment list, tap and hold to drag that piece of equipment over to the box on the far right hand side of the screen. Then you can adjust the hours or delete equipment if necessary. When finished, tap on the back button to return to the Timecard Entry screen.

Timecard Inventory

The inventory screen is where you add inventory to a timecard entry. You can see on the left hand side, there is an index of inventory codes, which when tapped will shift the inventory list to the first piece of inventory in the index. After you find the inventory in the inventory list, tap and hold to drag that inventory item over to the box on the far right hand side of the screen. Then you can adjust the quantity or delete inventory if necessary. When finished, tap on the back button to return to the Timecard Entry screen.
